Accommodation

Saskatchewan has more than 1,200 hotels, motels, bed and breakfast and campground accommodations throughout the province. Jobs available to those interested in the accommodation industry are varied and diverse. Jobs range from those in large full-service and accommodation-only hotels and motels in many communities to small bed and breakfasts, campgrounds and lodges in remote communities.

Food and Beverage Services includes restaurants, bars, coffee shops, food trucks...basically anywhere you can get food. This industry is a major employer of youth, which provides an excellent training ground for people who are beginning their careers.

Recreation and Entertainment is one of the most diverse industries, covering everything from outdoor adventure to live events. It is also one of the fastest growing service industries. People working in Travel Services help visitors make decisions about what to see and do in a community. They also help coordinate travel to other destinations. Travel services include organizations that specialize in serving the needs of the tourism industry, as well as businesses that provide direct services to visitors. These include government agencies, marketing organizations and tourism educators.
